Alan Roux
Chairperson
Alan is an experienced Non-Executive Director and investor with almost 20 years of leadership in Portfolio Value Creation at two of the world’s top private equity firms, CVC and Blackstone. He chairs Taking Care of Business UK and serves on Taking Care of Business South Africa’s Advisory Board.
Alan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BSc (Eng) from the University of Cape Town (UCT), where he is also a Trustee of UCT’s UK Trust.
Célia Pronto
Trustee
Célia is an award-winning Director with over 30 years’ experience in a variety of marketing, digital and technology positions at Unilever, InterContinental Hotels Group, STA Travel, Bookatable, Ford Retail and Casual Dining Group, before her final Executive position as Managing Director at online subscription business Love Home Swap. Today she is a portfolio Non-Executive Director serving on multiple boards.
As a passionate advocate of getting more women on boards, Célia is an ambassador for Women on Boards, an organisation dedicated to helping businesses achieve gender balance. She also runs her own Holistic Mentoring practice supporting senior women, called SheCapital and her Energy Healing practice, The Healing Centre.
Jesse Chambers

Jesse Chambers grew up in South Africa and studied a BCom in International Business at Stellenbosch University. She has professional experience in both the fintech and travel technology sectors, working in London as a Finance Analyst where she leads process improvement initiatives, drives operational risk management, and delivers data-driven solutions to increase efficiency and impact. With strong South African roots and a passion for community, Jesse is committed to strengthening connections between the UK and South Africa.
Lieza Langford
Trustee
Liezel Langford has spent more than twenty years working across technology, digital media, startups and social impact. Her experience spans partnership development, digital innovation and helping organisations turn ideas into practical, scalable solutions that create meaningful impact.
Over the years, she has collaborated with organisations including Meta, OpenAI, UNICEF, WHO, the Gates Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation, contributing to projects focused on accessibility, innovation and long-term value. She is passionate about bringing people and ideas together, simplifying complexity and helping organisations build services and partnerships that are both practical and sustainable.
